Supported Living

Personalised support that helps you stay safe, comfortable, and independent in your own home.

Support at home

What is Supported Living?

Supported living is designed for adults who need extra support to live safely while maintaining control over their own lives. Individuals have their own tenancy or private space, giving them a sense of ownership and independence, while receiving tailored support from our team.

The level of support can vary depending on each person’s needs. Some may need occasional help with daily tasks, while others may require more consistent or complex care. Our role is to provide the right balance, offering support where needed while encouraging independence wherever possible.

At Embraced Care, supported living is about more than just a place to live. It is about helping people build confidence, develop life skills, and enjoy a safe, stable environment where they can thrive.

Person centred support

Our approach

At Embraced Care, we take a person centred approach to supported living, focusing on each individual’s needs, preferences, and goals. We take the time to understand how someone wants to live, so the support we provide feels natural, respectful, and empowering.

We work closely with commissioners, families, and healthcare professionals to deliver consistent and thoughtful care that supports positive outcomes. Every plan is tailored, flexible, and regularly reviewed to ensure it continues to meet changing needs.

Our approach is trauma informed and holistic, combining practical support, life skills development, and emotional wellbeing. This helps individuals build confidence, maintain independence, and feel safe, supported, and valued in their everyday lives.

Why it works

Our holistic approach combines life skills, mental health guidance, creative therapies, and safe, well-equipped homes, helping residents feel valued, supported, and empowered every day.

Supported living at Embraced Care strikes the right balance of independence and support, empowering them, whatever their level of need.

How do residents live independently?

Residents will have their own tenancy or private space, giving them ownership over their home. They manage bills, household chores, and daily routines with guidance available as needed.

Our support is designed to enhance independence, stepping in only when practical or emotional assistance is required. Whether someone needs a little extra help or full support for more complex needs, our approach ensures residents can stay in control of their lives, while developing life skills, wellbeing, and confidence.

Inclusive personalised care

Embrace Neurodiversity

We have a lot of experience in providing personalised care for residents with autism, ADHD, or sensory sensitivities. We understand that some environments can feel overwhelming, so we create calm, low-stimulus spaces with structured routines to help residents feel safe and comfortable.

We use communication tools suited to each resident, including PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System), visual aids, and other tailored strategies to make it easier for residents to express their needs and preferences. We also provide safe, accessible spaces with adaptive equipment and creative activities that help build confidence, independence, and wellbeing.

Our care is trauma-informed and person-centred, combining life skills support, therapies, mental health guidance, and social engagement to help residents feel valued, supported, and confident every day.
